Fuyu Variety
Fuyu persimmons are small, round, and pumpkin-shaped. Fuyus are delicious fall fruits that contain hints of holiday flavors (cinnamon, pears, dates, and brown sugar) - great to eat plain, on a salad, charcuterie board, in sauces, baked goods, and so much more.
Hachiya Variety
Hachiya persimmons are acorn-shaped and will feel like a water balloon in hand when ripe from the jelly-like interior. The skins are thin like a tomato. The skins are inedible, but hachiyas can be cut and the interior can be scooped and eaten. The interior can also be used for multiple uses including holiday baking and savory dishes.
